I am the newest Executive Director for The Leadership Center in Aurora, Nebraska! I am also the youngest and first lady to have the job. Very EXCITING!! I love coffee, am passionate about leadership development and think my dogs rock. I'd like to think I might actually make a difference on the planet, so I want my actions to count for something more than a second! My husband, John,our Great Danes, and I moved to Aurora, Nebraska from South East, Michigan. Our family now includes our son, Chaz, our 3 great danes and 1 basset hound and we've hosted 8 exchange students (to date 2013) from Denmark, Russia, Austria and Germany. My background is growing up on an organic dairy farm in Minnesota, I got my B.S. in Agricultural Education from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls (as did my husband, John), and have spent the last few years developing my chops in non-profit sector by serving as the Executive Director of some pretty cool Michigan Chambers of Commerce...which eventually landed me in Aurora, Nebraska!
